‘Gilmore Girls’ Reportedly Making 1,400% More Per Episode Than In Their Early Days

If Season 1 Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel could see their paychecks now, we’re guessing they’d spit out their coffee.

According to a report from Variety this week, the stars of “Gilmore Girls” net $750,000 per episode for the upcoming reboot on Netflix. When the series first debuted in 2000, Graham reportedly earned $50,000 for each episode throughout the first four seasons, according to IMDb. Bledel’s per-episode earnings are not listed, but we can reasonably assume hers, as Graham’s co-star with the same TV name, were similar.

That’s a 1,400 percent increase. That’s more than Mark Harmon made per episode of “NCIS.” (He scored $525,000.) That’s more than Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington and Lena Headey made per episode of “Game of Thrones.” (They earned $500,000 each.)

That’s not more than Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco each made per episode of “The Big Bang Theory” ($1 million). “Big Bang” money is hard to top.

Sure, the upcoming reboot only consists of four episodes. But still. The Gilmore Girls have ? deservedly ? come a long way from The WB.
